Development of the LITE console for Jerusalem Light Rail Station
RDI will develop the new control centre for the Jerusalem Light Rail station in Israel. With the Light Rail, the Jerusalem metropolitan area is leading Israel’s transportation revolution.
THE LIGHT RAIL
The launch of the light rail in 2011 resulted in an atmosphere of progress, convenience and efficiency in Israel’s largest city.
The first of the city’s light rail lines is the Red Line which offers a quiet and environmentally friendly ride – and in the not too distant future more lines are expected to traverse Jerusalem and connect the residential, employment, trade, entertainment, and academic focal points.
The LITE console succeeds in the railway sector due to its technical properties:
-Excellent cable management throughout the entire console.
-High-capacity storage for equipment.
-Connectivity inside the compartments and on the work surface within the operator's reach.

LITE EVO CONSOLE FEATURES
HEIGHT REGULATION SYSTEM
Alternating sitting and standing work reduces back pain, improves and increases physical and emotional well-being, helps increase productivity and reduces cardiovascular risks.
POWER FRAME
Connectivity unit integrated into the worksurface with hinged cover. Contains two power sockets, two RJata jacks and two USB sockets for each operator.
FUNCTIONAL ARC
Steel piece for structural use that conducts the wiring all along the console. The inferior part allows to place connectivity on 19" mounts.
REAR SUPPORT SYSTEM (RSS)
Located underneath the functional arc. Disposes if hinged front and back doors to access the equipment. All the cabling can go directly from the compartments to the functional arc and be connected to the internal sockets.
WIRELESS CHARGER
Battery chargers without wires for compatible devices.
SINGLE AND DOUBLE SUPPORTS FOR MONITORS
Made of aluminum profile, it allows an easy adjustment of monitors at all levels.
CORPORATE IDENTITY
The console allows the customer's corporate image to be applied on the sides.
