Integrated Control Centre of the Navantia Shipyard in El Ferrol.

F1

Navantia's Gemelo Digital Integrated Control Center in El Ferrol estuary, Spain,  is an advanced operational environment that allows real-time monitoring and management of various shipyard systems. This center collects data from multiple sources, such as transformation centres, gas and fluid supply networks, and weather stations, facilitating the efficient planning of tasks and the prevention of problems.

The Control Center coordinates the collection of real-time data from the shipyards' transformation centers, firefighting switchboards, gas and fluid supply networks and weather stations. This leads to foreseeing problems, planning tasks and building more efficient scenarios, increasing safety and risk prevention.

The Integrated Control Center is composed of two key areas: the Control Room and the Crisis Room, each equipped with advanced technology to optimize the facilities' operation and security.

The Control Room has a large 153-inch videowall, which provides a complete, real-time view of critical processes. In addition, it has two operating stations from which operators monitor and manage the shipyard's systems. The room also incorporates a domotic control system that automatically regulates lighting and air conditioning, ensuring an efficient and comfortable working environment.

One of the solutions implemented by RDI is the T-LINE console, which optimizes and organizes the working environment of each operator and the teams they coordinate. The console is the result of a careful ergonomic study that considers the positioning of the operator's legs and feet at the base of the console, always allowing a comfortable position. Its totem-type structure facilitates easy management of wiring and equipment.

On the other hand, the Crisis Room has been designed for situations that require immediate and coordinated management. It has predefined lighting and privacy scenarios, allowing the environment to be adapted according to the needs of each moment. Access to this room is strictly controlled by means of biometric systems or RFID cards, guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of the information handled inside.

In terms of technical solutions, the Crisis Room has a Type C+ meeting table, the best complement to create meeting areas adjacent to the control centers, where a simple connection is required to establish common workspaces with the necessary connectivity elements, well integrated and effortless for the user. It also has a space for housing computer equipment.

This operationsl environment is a significant technological step forward in terms of security and operation, consolidating Roomdimensions as a reference in innovation and excellence in the creation of Control Centers.
